If you, like me, are in the first few weeks of university, your concerns would be food and drinks (the essentials). As such, I am going to tell you all the places that you need to visit at least once in Brickworks.

Filled to the brim with affordable and delicious food, Woollies is a great place for you to buy groceries. You couldn’t find any other place that would beat Woollies in terms of the freshness of their product.

Some buyers would even say, "I usually buy all of my groceries at Woollies. I think that in terms of price and the freshness of their produce, not a lot of stores could beat Woollies," which I agreed with. One downside of Woollies that I would like to mention is that even though Woolworths emphasises its freshness, they still sell processed meat and factory-made honey.

Gami

If you are wondering what you should eat and are still deciding, I will introduce you to Gami. Crispy, flavorful, and delicious, Gami is a restaurant that is famous for its chicken and cosy feeling, which brought customers to like their restaurant.

In contrast, some reviews on the forum did say that some servings are somewhat bland and not to their preferences. While I would say that the side dish that they gave you when you ordered certainly helped with the bland taste.

Overall, If you are tight on schedule and happen to be in the mood for chicken, try stopping by Gami. You will certainly be fried out of your mind once you give it a try.

Teddy Bakery 

Savouring some delicious bakery but still mindful of your health? At the start of university, we are always busy studying and settling in, but it still shouldn't be the case for you to not eat some tasty but also healthy food.

When asked what makes their food so special, a customer responded, "I really like their bread, not only because they are made out of healthy ingredients, but also because they also look really pretty to look at." One unfortunate thing I would say is that there is no place to sit to enjoy the store decorations.

A Sweet 

If you ever went to an Asian street food market, you might see a grass jelly desert selling on almost every corner of the street, and A Sweet would give you the same experiences, from traditional recipes to modern twists.

However, that is not all. A Sweet also sells multiple other confections that you might want. If you have a sweet tooth like me, be sure to open your eyes to this treasure trove, as it may be the best decision you make to visit it.
